I am a Chair-certified commissioner under the RMA and have been since 2006. That means I have demonstrated ability to coordinate decision-making teams and deliver an outcome in a collaborative environment.

RMA commissioners have been used since 2005 and have greatly improved the quality of RMA decision making. 

I was an inaugural trainer of commissioners on behalf of MfE for the period 2005-2012 working as part of the central team. By teaching you learn : that was certainly my experience.

I have also worked as a Commissioner since 2005 on many large matters including complex plan changes. This experience has been interesting and the task of writing well written decisions is a good discipline that adds rigour to the decision-making process.
